The Gift of the Magi -- I love that story and I think it's great that you included it. Dean needing the Cliff Notes version and for Sam and Sarah to explain it to him was priceless, and just so Dean. :D

I studied it in high school. But I think with all the moving around Dean did, along with being more interested in hunting at that age, Dean's english lit education was probably spotty at best.

Unfortunately, this series is going to have to take a brief hiatus until next week. I'm taking a business trip with my husband over the weekend.

aww that was soo cute, i love the convasation between dean and gabe, but he is 32?? haha i always have trouble imagining him anything other then "26, dude",

I've kind of left ages nebulous to make it a little flexible. I think in Canon Dean is four years older than sam who is four years older than chloe. But in this fanfic 'verse, I've kept it in the back of my mind that Chloe and Sam are about the same age.

Lovely ending and thanks for reccing me. I love the idea and the irony of Lois singing Silent Night, protective!Gabe, the cute Sam/Sara moments, and Martha organizing covert demon attacks. It's all very well done.
