I busted out laughing at this line,"At least until it came time to kneel. Then stand, then kneel again. It was like the hokey pokey." In my personal opinion Catholic wedding services are even worse than midnight mass, they have a way of seemingly going on forever.

I'm not catholic. I was raised in the southern baptist church, and then I married someone who was Assmebly of God and we started going to a Carismatic church, which initially, I didn't quite know how to take.

But my sister dated a nice catholic boy, and very nearly converted, so I did a lot of study on the church when it looked like I was about to have Catholic family members.

It also helps that Clarksmuse, my beta reader, is catholic. So she generally spots my errors.

Our religious backgrounds are just eerily similar.
I know that that has nothing to do with the story, I just felt like pointing it out.

I loved Dean's comments to Jimmy about the camera. It was great to have Perry barking at them as a cohesive group out in the newsroom. It gave me the warm fuzzies. *grin* Oh, and nice Sweeney Todd reference.

I actually wrote that before I realized that they were going to release the musical as a movie. Shows how much I pay attention.

Not sure If I'd like it. I'm so used to Angela Landsbury, that I don't know if HBC could ever fill the part of Mrs. Lovett. Again, I'd be tempted to see her as Belatrix Lestrange there XD

Yeah, Angela Lansbury is forever going to be the only Mrs. Lovett for me in the same way George Hearn is the only Sweeney Todd. The movie took itself WAY too seriously for my tastes and I really missed the bookending Ballad of Sweeney Todd. *sigh*

Hollywood movies are never the same. I concluded this after watching the "happy ending" version of Great Expectations in english class.

*shudders* Ever since then, i've been kind of leery of hollywood adaptations of anything.

This is lovely! As a lapsed Episcopalian, I can definitely sympathize with everyone but Sam - glad he pointed out the Latin, if only for accuracy's sake.

Happy New Year!
