I'm glad this decided to go around, because I've really been missing fannish things. Some of this is my own busy-ness, and some of it is simply that I haven't felt particularly fannish about anything in a while, but I miss having that enthusiasm. It's also been long enough since I had a fandom I was really engaged in that I'm starting to fear that

There are some truly excellent moments between Jack and Irina in those last two eps of season 4: they make out, he kills her, he saves her, she punches him, together they kill her sister, she kisses him, he helps her escape. And somewhere in there we get the world's best marriage advice, when Irina tells Vaughn, "you don't want to be like Jack and me." *squishes the spy!rents*

There are also some of the other eps along the way that I quite liked (like the one where Jack thinks it's the 80s, and Sydney has to pretend to be Irina, and oh, Jack!!!). But overall, seasons 1 and 2 are the consistently great ones, and the later seasons have a pretty epic amount of WTF?, even if there's also Jack and Irina making out and killing each other.

For you: I'll give you Alias back again, and also Babylon 5 and The West Wing.
