How heartbreaking!!! I didn't watch it--after watching sports for nearly 8 hours straight, I was a little burned out and needed to get some work done instead--but reading about it this morning sounds like Nebraska was robbed!
And it also sounds like the case for Texas in the championship game is a weak one, and if I were TCU, Cincinnati, or Boise St., I'd be pretty pissed, too, because you know it's Texas who will go. Of course, I'm of the opinion that the real national championship game was yesterday between Florida and Alabama because I think either of those teams could beat any of the other unbeatens, but possibly I'm biased. :) In any event, it would be nice to see some honest matchups between all these unbeaten teams, rather than for everyone just to speculate about who would have beaten whom. A column I was just reading said something to the effect of "if Cincinnati isn't going to win the national championship, I'd like to see this happen because of a Cincinnati loss, and not because Colt McCoy threw a ball at a rail 1000 miles
