BEST SPORTS DAY OF MY LIFE!!!!!!!!!!!!!
(well, maybe; the day Kentucky football beat then-#1 LSU was also pretty damned good; and there was the 1998 Kentucky vs. Duke Elite Eight basketball game; but the aggregation of awesome sports things might push today on top)
My top two sports allegiances: Kentucky and Alabama.
First, Kentucky beats North Carolina in basketball!!!!!! Absolutely BREATHTAKING first half, then superstar phenom John Wall injured in the second, but they still hung on and pulled the W. But that first half especially should, I hope, silence some of the "overrated" cries about this team. AND OH MY GOD KENTUCKY BASKETBALL IS BAAAAAAAAAAACK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Then, SEC Football Championship, and Alabama not only defeated top-ranked, defending national champion Florida, but they BEAT THEM DOWN!!!!!!!!!!!!! 32-13. Florida shut out in the second half. Alabama was ON FIRE the entire game and outplayed them more spectacularly than anything I've ever seen. Florida looked like some kinda average team. IT WAS A THING OF GREAT BEAUTY!!!!!!!!
AND NOW BAMA GOES TO THE NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
