I may or may have made sounds only audible for bats while reading this. I love the fact that in the end, everything and nothing has changed between them.

Oh yay. This is the first CSI:NY fic I've ever read and I love it a lot a lot a lot. You've got the cadences of Mac's inner voice down so pat that even though I've never heard his inner voice, I know it's him. And such a lovely take on the friendship-to-romance that doesn't lose the friendship in the transition. Love!

Oh, I'm glad you enjoyed it! I confess I never thought I'd read CSI:NY fic, either, much less write it (actually, I'm still adjusting to the fact that I enjoy the show as much as I do!), but I had a great deal of fun with this nonetheless.
