I just spent an hour watching a special on the Discovery channel ablout Sherlock Holmes. It was really interesting, they were explaining how the character was modeled after a doctor in real life who worked on the Jack the Ripper case and of course anything involving THAT amuses me to hellish delight

Woah, weird, as I've been reading everything I can about the Ripper case these past two weeks. I'm fascinated with it, and the Zodiac Killer (of California, not the copy cat killer of New York) case.

I liked the movie From Hell a lot, but I didn't like how they made the Royal conspiracy a big part of the plot.
