I have Hashimoto's Disease. It's the cause of every weird and hormonal symptom I've been having over the years! While it is a relief to know the cause, it's a heavy thing to be diagnosed with an autoimmune disorder.

We had a tornado
But we're all okay. Minor roof damage. Massive trees down in our back lot--but none of them landed on anything damageable. A house 1/2 mile away on our street is completely GONE. The staircase is in the neighbors yard. It was vacant so no one was hurt but it's surreal. Looks like a movie!

Great Spring Week
Had a great week getting in yoga workouts and some time outside. Finished reading The Red Tent and am reading a book about yoga and a book about evolutionary nutrition. Hoping to do some de-cluttering this weekend and catch some free yoga for my studio's grand opening weekend..
And maybe catch a date with the man! -
The Ides of March!
The baby was in the hospital last week with a horrible cyst that had to be removed surgically! He had a super rough week and I didn't watch him once all week. This week is back to normal, I work all day Mon, Tues and Wed and have Thurs and Fri off ( Read more... ) -
On New Beginnings...
It's been a bit, but there's not too much to fill you up on.
ERIK finished up with his Odyssey of the Mind team and really enjoyed it. He is still doing Brazilian Jiu Jitsu and has yet to lose a match at a tournament. He loves Justin Beiber and dancing! He is doing an 8 week kids yoga class with my yoga teacher starting this week.

MLK Day
Had a nice weekend, both productive and restful. Erik has his best friend over since yesterday and baby is coming later. Already made breakfast and cleaned up. Gotta work on dinner.
Sort of a slow week, getting ready to go to Utah on Saturday. Feeling good about 2011 and hoping everything falls into place here shortly!
