The HMCS Fredericton is in town this weekend (which is also NASCAR weekend here). The CBC's afternoon show posts info on its Facebook page about events they are covering, dates, times, etc.

I almost hit a 12/13 y.o. boy who rode his bike (while holding a skateboard) at high speed right in front of my car at Main and Battery in Burlington today. This intersection is busy and this was in the middle of lunch hour. He came from my left at an angle and passed into my line of sight just as the light turned green. I want to add my voice to those expressing condolences on the passing of Sam Storicks. I didn't know him, but the love that folks had for him and have for his partner is truly something to behold.
