Question to other hardware guru's

I built my cousin a frankensystem that actually isn't that bad, but it has a shitty onboard Intel graphics chip. Even though the shitty Intel chip counts as AGP, we found we're much better off using the 32MB PCI VooDoo 3 card I put in there.

Since then my cousin has found an armload of games he wants, but his system comes just shy of supporting ( Read more... )

NCIX sells to both canada and US and has a few under $50 or around $60 cards. You could always suggest to your cousin a barebones system as they are cheap too:

Looks like it would fit in those "short card" Dells, but still allow dual monitor support on a regular system. Trust me, he's not going to shell out much money for anything other unless it enhances his redneck side. He likes computers, but expects that to be free, other than this video card because I don't have a better one to give him free and wont buy him one.
