This has been one crazy summer. And when I say "crazy", I do mean "crazy good", because as we all know "crazy" can be taken a few different ways.

I'm 4 runs away from my Couch-to-5k "graduation". I can't even begin to describe how awesome this program is... last night was the first time I've been genuinely sore, but it was after I completed 3.13 miles (2 mile run, 1 mile walk). Some people do spring cleaning. Me? I do Christmas cleaning. It just seems to follow naturally, since this is the time of year I have the most guests, take the most pictures indoors, and spend the most time at home as a family (George is off for more than half of December). I really want to go back to my happy-go-lucky classes that involve thinking and logic! Give me Calculus and Chemistry any day over this psychology and anatomy stuff. We're really gearing up for summer now. Georgie had his last day of preschool today, and is excited to start Kindergarten in the fall. Carolyn has only 8 days of 1st grade left! The pool opened over the weekend but it's been rainy and cold so we haven't gone yet. Hopefully it warms up soon, as we are all anxious to get in the pool again ( Read more... )
