I've come to a couple of conclusions today:

1) War is extremely unnatural or at least "counter-natural" despite the common perception that it isn't.

2) My mom's experimental waffle recipe smells like semen.

I'm having a hard time getting my head around these revelations.

I feel like my mind is so empty. My own limitations frustrate me almost daily. I feel like I have spent so much of my life worrying about what I simply cannot know, rather than pursuing what I can. I have come to a realisation that has left me somewhat uncomfortable. I wish I knew a lot more about Math. My neglect of the subject borders on being tragic. The more I look into my interests, the more math I require to understand them. I think I understand what Escher saw in Math now. I'm not really sure where to begin my quest for knowledge.

The insect kingdom is after me.

I was just having a late breakfast, when a bug fell off the ceiling onto my dining-room table. I didn't have time to do more than glance at it before it flew kamikaze style into my coffee. What an unusual morning.

I went to AWA with Rachel and, despite myself, had an enjoyable time. Rachel looked very cute in her costume . Seeing her made the trip worth it alone. Anime hell was pretty funny and definitely my favorite activity there. I just read an article about anti-abortion activists that are pushing for a bill that would allow pharmacists and doctors to deny their patients abortions and contraceptives on religious grounds.
