There seems to be far too much death and sadness in the world. Shortages of raw materials and necessities are virtually artificial, and yet we are unable to transition from a system of competition to a system of cooperation. In case anyone was curious it's possible to play the 1998 Windows version of Axis & Allies on Linux if you use the latest version of WINE and apply a cracked no-cd patch to the game.

It's been a really slow day at work.

I'm pretty settled in to my apartment now and life is beginning to normalize. After two weeks of searching I have a job, largely thanks to Chris (Zeke). In case anyone cares, I now work at the computing services in the UGA Law Library. It's my first official day on the job and it's off to a slow start. I think moving to Athens was a good idea.

Why does my project on Neoclassicism feel like a kick to the face?

I still have a History paper to write and I don't even have a subject. If I can survive another couple of weeks I believe life will get genuinely better. Unfortunately two weeks feel like forever from where I'm standing now.
