You look so beautiful! I would never enter my child in a pageant like this. As you said, what could they learn that would be a positive thing? When I was younger I would wear a good amount of make up, and always try to look really nice and put together. As I got older, I still tried to look classic. Not sloppy.. But I wear a lot less make up now. But mascara and lip gloss can totally change a person.
As you age, you tend to care less about these things. :) However, I never wore heavy make-up. I don't understand the appeal of it. What's the man supposed to do when he sees how you really look in the morning. False advertisement! :) I always wear foundation, powder, a little mascara and neutral lipstick. Probably most people think I have nothing on.
Oh, im not getting any older. Ive decided, i would like to be 32 forever. Thank you though. Yeah, you're very good at looking natural and beautiful. I cant wear foundation, it feels heavy and pore cloggy to me. Hope i get to see your beautiful face soon. Im coming to town tomorrow. Xoxo
Bikini! It was cold there, and I have too much flesh on my bones for a bikini. :) Even when I was thinner, I didn't wear one. I think it's good to leave something to the imagination. :)
Actually, many of the mom's who put their daughters in these pageants are religious and "conservative." So, I don't think this has an impact. Main reason why you wouldn't do this is that you're intelligent. :) You help your kids grow through life experiences (traveling, etc.), not by being judged or praised based on superficial things like physical appearance. In my view, this is the proper way to raise a child.
