So there's this really bad exploit out on the net... and there's no patch available from MS, probably not until 1/9/06. You can get it by browsing, from email attachments (even pictures embedded in word files), IM, etc. Antivirus and firewall software packages do not help. Okay, thanks to my fellow law student Chase for this one. I think even if you are not a law student/lawyer, you will appreciate what Judge Posner (7th Circuit Court of Appeals) is saying in this opinion. And if you are a law student/lawyer, you have got to laugh. Every once in a while, the judiciary makes me proud.
