My god is it wet outside. I think I need booties. Or waterproof shoes. How the hell are poor people supposed to ride in the rain without getting soaked on every trip!?

that's what i hated about biking in portland. i mean, it's kind of fun to ride in the rain sometimes, during the actual process of riding, when i wasn't not worried about getting somewhere looking even mildly put together, but at home, when i was cold, wet, and disheveled, wasn't so much fun.

or riding through the rain to get to work....
