GYPSY to Close Early on January 11, 2009

The award winning, critically acclaimed smash hit production of GYPSY, originally announced to close on Sunday, March 1, 2009, will now play its final performance at the St. James Theatre (246 West 44th Street) on Sunday, January 11, 2009.

I'm a week away from knowing whether I can go see ALNM that weekend... if it happens, I want to go see Gypsy. Because Patti LuPone, Laura Benanti and Boyd Gains FTW over Shrek and whatever else is playing. ;)

I totes freaked out and bought tickets to the closing performance. Because it's Patti, Laura and Boyd, and it will be EPIC.

Knowing that you're going to be there to see Patti, Laura and Boyd makes me run around and flail ... mentally. ;D

Honestly? When I get a bucket load of money, there'll be a place to put together great theatre just so I can see my favourite performers on stage :D Of course, it'd be a heckuva big bucket :D
