The award winning, critically acclaimed smash hit production of GYPSY, originally announced to close on Sunday, March 1, 2009, will now play its final performance at the St. James Theatre (246 West 44th Street) on Sunday, January 11, 2009.

I'm a week away from knowing whether I can go see ALNM that weekend... if it happens, I want to go see Gypsy. Because Patti LuPone, Laura Benanti and Boyd Gains FTW over Shrek and whatever else is playing. ;)

:( I can't imagine Oklahoma in the late Winter... but then again, I think I'll sacrifice a limb or something if I could just get this January sort out. I've never been the best at patience, and all this not knowing and waiting and stuff is enough to make me ponder the thousands of ways I could use to whittle the decision down to something I can accept. :/

if dealing with slush meant that I was in NYC... then bring on the slush and all that jazz. I've yet to visit the OK state, so I guess one of these times, I want to see the wind blowin' down the plains and all that :)
