The fourth pattern section of the center panel on the Sampler Shawl is about to get under way.

I have been worried since I moved the small pond that our frogs would not find it in the new location. Yesterday afternoon I walked out back and low and behold, this is what I found. Now if only a second one would join this one and do some spawning.

Well, Piglet made a trip into the garden yesterday evening making a beeline to the nasturtiums and got chased off after I saw him sitting in the middle of the bed munching. BRAT! After days of rain we are getting a bit of a reprieve this morning. The sun is out but it is also 49 degrees. I actually turned on the heater under the desk this morning.

It’s our primary voting day. I get to go punch buttons this morning and exercise a right and privilege.
