Got a few more inches knit on the socks last night while watching a movie. A bit earlier in the day I cut the strips for two more sets of blocks for the quilt. Now I have to find the time to sew them together ( Read more... )

I am into the 4th skein of yarn on the Garter Stitch CoatI left my virus scanner running while I went about other things yesterday and much to my horror when I checked it the program had frozen. Today is our wedding anniversary and I’ll just tell you that I love and adore my Dearest more than the day I married him.

It was just too cold to try on and then finish the straps on the Daffodil Fling.
Row 50 has been worked on the Summerflies shawl.

By the end of yesterday it was quite obvious that we were heading into the single digits overnight. Snow forecast was changed again - now they say none till the weekend. It is currently 5 degrees outside (-15 C). I’m cold and even the cats are complaining when not under one of the cat quilts.

Looks like a rainy day, again. It is certainly chilly.

Here is a photo update of the progress on the Nina Kicked Up a Notch shawl. This brings it to exactly ½ finished so it is downhill from here.

The sunny weather did not last long yesterday. Yeah, what else but more rain.

I was happy to read that a majority of the Senate voted to reject a series of pro-polluter amendments aimed at gutting the Clean Air Act and hogtying the EPA.

Up early, and in all honesty, never really got to sleep. When I climbed into bed last night I found that my Dearest had pulled the sheet and the rest of the bedding out - a pet peeve of mine.
