Chapter 13 seriously screwed with my breathing and my tear ducts, dragged me right to the edge and then threw me over it. Thanks for all of the mad writing skillz that produced this gem,and for sweating so hard over it. I'm really hoping you get Dean back on his feet in chapter 14... might inspire me to get back on mine, metaphorically speaking. A whole truckload of caramel buds coming your way.

Damn. I know I could and should be more eloquent about the brilliance of your writing and your story, but I'm just so excited at the moment. So know this Dragons, you are brilliant and your story is fantastic. I'm loving it!

But I've just been back to read that last scene again, and oh my goodness!! Those boys are in such a world of shit right now. Sure, Sam has gone all crazy powerful and it's awesome and sexy and kick ass. But he has a hole. In his chest. Bobby. Shot. Him. And his blood sprayed all over Dean....
Dean is down. He can't get up. He's choking on blood and desperation and fear for his brother. His fingers have been broken - by Sam!! *wrings hands fearfully*
If I bit my nails they'd be down to the quick by now. Phwoaar bloody crikey!
Damn, wish I knew how to edit posts! Anyhoo, just wanted to add that I loved the whole bit with Gaap, and that when even faced with an 8 foot, winged demon, Dean still has the snark running at full throttle. :)
And Dean and Bobby having to face the truly unpleasant task of handcuffing Sam to a chair and then the car; putting him inside devil's traps to keep him there; Dean unable to look his brother in the eye... But thank god those traps didn't work, huh?
Also, as many others have said... "I’m not gonna spend the next five months watching him turn into the same thing we’ve hunted our entire lives. I can’t do it. I won’t. I’d rather go to Hell. That kid in there is all I have, and he is the only thing in my entire goddamn life, besides killing things, that I’ve gotten right.” Oh!Dean
I read this an hour ago and at the time, I couldn't respond because I was speechless! So I served up Sunday lunch and came back, re-read and now I'm going to try and say something aside from WOW! This was, IMHO, the best chapter yet. The moment where Dean lies broken, realizes that he has failed KILLED me. And then Bobby...trigger-happy Bobby, I wanted to scream! Sam's struggle with himself, just incredibly done. Remember when I said this story was gonna stay with me for a long time after it's done? Well, this chapter has been burned into my brain, I'll be seeing it playing in my head for ages, I'm sure:)
