I am beset on all sides by heartbreak this week.  My friends are all falling out of love.  Why do people say they fell out of love?  Shouldn’t it be ran out of love?  FLED love?  Knocking over furniture on the way to the door?  Or is that just me…

Oh, this is awesome - very nice! I would come to you for a shoulder - because I think you would offer it up for a while, then move me on the way - as opposed to wallowing with the Ben & Jerry's and the "men suck" mantra....

BTW, do you have any work published - I LOVE your journal and want more!

And on that note - I realized, as I was driving into work, that I was still thinking about Crossing Bridges....which I read twice yesterday. So well done again!

And finally (because I like my "ands") I resolve to use tanty chucker today. Even if it is just to my dogs.

Yeah, I don't like "fell out of love"
I prefer "dissolved the illusion of love"
or "found the cure for Plato's grave mental disease"-
but it's a better cure for love than say
marriage.

Like the poem-
"the din in there was awesome
a cacophy of rain on tin
as riotous and angry as I"
was my favorite part.
It made me imagine a drunk poet stumbling across
a country nestled farmhouse
cursing a sensetive heart
or a flaw in armor
