HELLO NEW YORK! WHOOOOO!
So, the bulk of my tax return went to getting a MUCH needed new bed. Thanks to an awesome Macy's sale, not only did I get a much nicer bed than I'd hoped, but I even had a little left over, with which I got Rock Band for the Wii ( Read more... ) -
Making plans
So, it looks like I am just starting to think about moving again, probably some time between late Summer to mid-Fall. After April when our current lease expires we're not going to sign another full-year lease because we don't want to spend another full year in this nice, but overpriced, apartment. My mom and grandmother left for home today, it was good to see them both again!
Overall they had a good trip. Even though I had to work, they were just fine, heading into the city on the train to do all the sightseeing they could handle. They did the Gray Line bus tour and thought it sucked, did lots of shopping, and visited the Met, which they ( Read more... ) -

My mother and my grandmother are flying in today, they will be here this afternoon. I haven't seen either of them in a few years, now. Since I moved away from Texas I just haven't been able to get back for a visit, so they are coming here. I think we're all excited to see each other, and they are also excited to have a reason to visit New York City ( Read more... )
