WELL...here we are again!

Apr 19, 2009 03:04

It's been eight months since we last posted, mainly because of a couple of unfortunate events which happened in the Perri/Richard household.

Firstly, I [Perri] became very ill. I suffer from a very serious chronic illness which can usually be controlled by several medications which I take daily allied with weekly therapy. I was able to work for ( Read more... )

Oh my god you're alive! You're ALIVE! *HUGS* I was so worried and I see now that I was well right too!

I'm so sorry to hear about your on-going health issues. I'm so glad that you are better now Perri!

That's just so sad that another one of your cats has died. *hugs hugs hugs*

Glad you enjoyed Corambis. Glad to have you guys back!

Sorry you worried about us. To begin with, of course, just getting through the days was all we could manage. Then, when things had improved, so much time had passed that we weren't sure what to say. The post was difficult to write because, while we didn't want to dump depressing news on anyone, we finally decided that some explanation was needed (whether it was really needed or not--something else we had a hard time deciding about). Things are much better now, but it's going to take us some time to catch up with all the LJ activity we missed in the meanwhile. Thanks for your support!

Thanks for your kind thoughts. Hope things have been going well for the two of you. We're slowly trying to catch up on at least the most recent of our flist's back posts, so we hope you'll understand if we've missed some of your important news.

Lovely Attolia story. Nice the way you believably wove in Irene's throwing of the ink container, as well as the crying incidents of the couple into the story. Almost felt like being a fly on their bedroom wall!

Hmmm, Bowling Green State, huh? Good school, but you're right, winters there will be different than Charleston's up there in the NE corner of Ohio. It's good that Ashley can go with you--will she be doing something at Bowling Green State, as well?

I was wondering why you guys hadn't posted about "Corambis" yet. Conspicuous in your absence! I was going to look up your journal and leave a comment, but I had a baby and don't really... brain... well... anymore. ;)

I'm glad you both are well and I'm sorry you lost a cat companion. That's such a hard thing to deal with. I'm glad you have one buddy left, though.

Having and then taking care of a baby is stressful by anyone's criteria. Here's hoping that you and young Nikola settle down into a managable pattern soon. Love the name you gave him. Sorry also about your depression (which is not uncommon in new mothers, as you undoubtedly know all too well). Glad you're getting treatment for it and here's hoping that you recover from it soon, as well.

It's amazing how out-of-touch we got in just a few months. That's the Internet for you!
