The writing continues-- am around 60K words now. Had an off week, writing wise, but Sunday was great. World of Warcraft is probably somewhat to blame, but I was burning out trying to push to get the novel finished, and life seems more in balance now, on the whole. On the WoW thing... I gather from a previous comment that you're playing a human warrior. Good choice!

Whatever you do, if the Defias guys at the dock give you a hard time, do NOT try to escape by swimming across the river. Wolves'll get you. Very embarrassing.

I haven't done this yet. However, I have tried to swim across Loch Modan, not to escape something so much as to just avoid bothering fighting the myriad spiders. (One of them is dull, two of them at once are fatal for my level 13 Warrior.) I was promptly attacked by a Crocodile.

I have a character on one of the servers you pointed me to, a level 7 Druid named Laera, but the times of day I tend to be on haven't been very west coast friendly.
