Those look like lots of fun and super duper awesome! I'm afraid I don't know of anywhere else to go than SPACE, though. And I don't know a lot about Etsy either, although it might not hurt to try? :/
Thanks! They were nice and easy to print, each color, 30 copies, only took about an hour. Not too shabby! And I finally know what I'm doing with ink consistency and pressure, so I can actually do stuff like the large flat green area of the leaves.
Yeah, I'm kinda thinking I might just experiment with Etsy. It's a pretty low start up cost, so no worries there.
(don't worry about the website - it is yours and I'll work at your pace. :) )
I am super serious when I say TCAF is a good idea. from BG/Toledo it's like a 3 or 4 hour drive and there are a bazillion people there who are super cool. And it's every year now instead of every two years. There's also C2E2 in Chicago, which is like a 4 hour drive from BG/Toledo. SPX is a bit of a drive but it's super duper cool and on the east coast.
THESE ARE ALL THINGS I WOULD BE WILLING TO DO IF THERE WERE TWO OR THREE MORE PEOPLE WITH WHICH THE COST WOULD BE SPLIT.
Count me in as one of the two or three more people for all of this stuff. Including the zine thing, which also looks neato. I have all my get-a-passport-paperwork, I just have to actually fill out/turn in the dang stuff. So! Let's team up and bully the other kids into joining this plan.
Thanks about the covers! Oh, and if you wanna use my scanner again for comics before you move, feel free (I actually have photoshop now derp derp). Unless you just wanna wait until you get home to take care of that.
I cannot help you with your actual questions, but these screen printed covers have me all excited. I am your fan, Jessi! Your stuff is amazing, as are you! Also, I hope you start feeling better soon.
I am sad that you're so stressed out!! Hopefully all this apartment jazz will be straightened out ASAP, and once we get settled things will pick up. I haven't heard much of people selling comics on Etsy, but I have no idea. I do know that there are some comic book stores that sell local things. If you want someone to fake a look of importance next to you while you try to convince Vault of Midnight to carry your minis, I'm your gal!

Thanks! Things are starting, slowly, to get better already, as stressful things get worked out/go away. So that's good!
