What I've Been Up To.
Screen printin' some covers, is what. These are for a couple short comics I did a while ago, which I feel good enough about to try to sell at some point. Speaking of which, does anybody happen to know of any indie comics-oriented cons in the Ohio/Michigan/Places Near There area besides SPACE? I'd like to be able to pander my wares more than once a year, but I also live in Ohio, Land of the Nothing.
Additionally, I've been thinking for a while of setting up an Etsy store, as I am involved in a bunch of other handmade sorts of things as well. There's people's comics up on Etsy, but from my perusal, the majority didn't seem great. Does anybody actually buy comics from there? It seems like it might be a bit silly, esp if you have to pay shipping on something you buy for $3.
I am going to try super duper hard to update this thing more often, like, once a week. Even if it's just dumb sketches ( I really want/need to get back into figure drawing and just technical practice in general). I have some ideas for some mini comics that I'm pretty into, I want to do more with my long comic project, and I want to do a bunch of straight illustration stuff, for practice and portfolio building. Oh, and maybe someday get together the images for my someday-website (sorry Eric!)
I've been ridiculously stressed and a little miserable as of late, but hopefully things will start clearing up soon and pull a switcheroo!
