I completely agree about Sandy and Kiersten. I thought it was really uncalled for to do the alcoholism thing... hits way too close to home for a lot of people I would imagine.

And yes, all of the characters have lost what was once individuality. Seth and Ryan are now totally interchangeable. They act EXACTLY THE SAME. BOOOORRRRRIIIIIING. And well, if Merissa ever had a personality, it's gone now. Plus, Summer is no longer a bitch, so she's pretty bland too.

P.S. I don't even know who Rebecca is... it has been a long time since I have watched the show. Mostly because it has been going downhill. :(

Ryan did get toned down. So he is more like Seth, but those two are pretty much the only people who didn't have a complete personality removal. Gah, the whole thing bugs me. I really wish that they'd at least maintained some semblance of their old personalities. *le sigh*
