Advice Needed

Jan 31, 2009 08:47

Ok. I need advice.

I need to find a decent restaurant in the Cap Hill area that does good food devoid of garlic. Or at least has a reasonable number of non-garlic items on the menu.

Thoughts or recommendations would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you. :)

Coastal Kitchen on 15th?
Not Capital Hill, but St Clouds in Madronna is also good, and flexible....

....hanging out with vampires?

Hmm. I've heard good things about both, but have never been. One of those may work very well, but I'll have to check. ;)

Not that I know of. I haven't seen a penchant for biting, but we'll have to see. ;)

You might want to ask around on that last one... I've heard rumors.

I don't think it will be an issue. I've been known to give as good as I get, and may have a pint or two to spare. :D

I was going to recommend Coastal Kitchen as well.

Galleria on Broadway might work, too. It is pretty yummy and they have the menu posted, so you could check it out.

Sushi is always an option, too.

I was thinking *maybe* sushi. I've been slowly getting my taste for seafood back after not eating any but canned tuna for better than 25 years.

It's definately an option, but I wouldn't be able to make any promises. But new experiences are 100% welcome.

We'll have to see! :)

Sushi is always good. And it's raw. What could be better?

Why on earth would anyone want to do that?!

You're asking me? Heh.

I'm mostly Italian; it's as incomprehensible to me as you, I'm sure.

Yeah, I'm part Italian, and I grew up on lots-o-garlic. I always double whatever a recipe says.

Blue is kind of a funky place but excellent excellent food!

Also Hana Sushi.

There is a nice greek/gyro place at the north end on the west side kinda by the Delux.

Oh and the Ethiopean place we ate at!

I thought about that. :)

Blue is fantastic, but there is not one item on the menu that does not have garlic, unless they've changed their menu in the last year.

I've never eaten Ethiopean food, do you know what kind of spices they use? I know a lot of people who seem to like it, but I've stayed away.
