It didn't work, because she needed both her crutches, because even though her right leg was more mangled then the left, she still wasn't really supposed to put a lot of weight on it, and it hurt bad enough her eyes watered - but if she used both crutches, there was no way she could make coffee.
Or food, really.
She half-stood in front of the makeshift kitchen, not aware of the look she was giving her empty coffee mug - a bit like it'd stomped on her puppy, if she'd had one.
