Ianto, when he wanted to, could be quite sneaky. It was part of his job description, actually, to a certain extent, and some habits, despite being mostly unneccessary on a nearly-deserted island, were hard to drop. But, really, stealing a thermos out of the rucksack of an unconscious girl was hardly all that sneaky. But his intentions with said thermos also ran along the lines of his job back home: planning ahead and coffee.

Unfortunately, Ace moved a little quicker on crutches than Ianto gave her credit for, and so he found himself walking along the path to the treehouse, thermos full of fresh coffee in hand. He rapped on the door of the house, but opened it himself, smiling as he stepped in. "Hello there. How are you feeling?"

Ace turned to him and her eyes flicked to the Thermos in his hands- and her face just lit up. She half-ignored the question, making a sound in her throat instead of actual words as she shifted on her crutches to look at him. Her legs were masked with white bandages, and she was barely putting any weight on them.

Her skin was still pale from the blood loss, the whites of her eyes slightly grey and her face drawn from the pain. "... Can I hope and pray you're going to share that?"

"It's your thermos, so really it's all yours," Ianto replied, shutting the door behind him. "I'll even fix you something to eat if you sit down," he added hopefully.

"What would I do without you?" She smiled, ducking her head as she swung her way to couch. ".... Well. Starve and be without coffee, apparently." She sat down slowly, wincing as she dropped the last foot or so.

"Thanks, Ianto."
