Loved this! The dialog is really great. I love that Jeff goes to everyone else first before finally giving up and just asking Annie--and that they all pre-warned her. The HP references were fantastic! That Greendale at night looks like an evil Hogwarts? I was laughing and nodding my head because, yeah, I can totally see that. I remember my college had a totally creepy, sinister vibe at night, like it's a whole other place. And like you're waiting to be dropped right into a cliche horror movie. Oh and the ninjas were awesome!! one of my favorite parts. Anyway, really enjoyed reading this. And also, koalarama = WIN!

Dialogue's one of my favorite things to do in a fic. :-) I'd love for Greendale to do a Harry Potter-themed episode, actually, evil Hogwarts!Greendale and all, but I don't know if they would be able to secure the rights. Ohmygod, I can't even list everything I loved about this because there's too much! But I have to say it was well-paced and very, very sweet without any out-of-character-ness. And you didn't just write Jeff and Annie amazingly, you had the characterization of the whole gang and Greedale's loveable idiosyncrasies down, too. I really liked your writing; it was concise and flowed and had all those details that really make a fic. You have a way with words. I especially liked these lines: "Jeff Winger is the consummate, distilled essence of not a worrier." and "And Annie is soundly asleep, lost in a land of Lisa Frank dreams, far away from this place. Lucky."

Your comment soothed all my worries in one fell swoop. *awe* Since it was my first real Community fic, and I've only been a fan of the show since Epidemiology, I was ridiculously anxious that I wasn't getting everyone's voices down, or that I was either exaggerating or playing down everyone's tendencies--basically a whole lot of character worry. And then I thought the fic was maybe too long, or wasn't moving along at a good clip. So hearing something like your comment is REALLY reassuring, and I seriously have to thank you for that. I'm incredibly flattered you liked my writing and very happy you liked the fic. THANK YOU! :-D
