I loved it! I'm usually a lurker but I just had to let you know how much I loved it.

I loved how it didn't really have too much fluff. It was just sweet 'ole Jeff WORRYING about sweet Annie. Plus, I loved all the references to Harry Potter! Streets ahead.

I don't mind fluff, but I don't think this fic called for its soft, poofy appearance--Jeff's not really a fluffy guy, and since the fic was from his POV, fluff would have hampered it. Nah, it was just Jeff worrying looking out for Annie, which is totally normal for grown, aloof men to do. And thank you; there really wasn't supposed to be that many references, but they just kinda kept going. :-) Thank you!!

I completely loved this! I thought your characterisation was absolutely spot on, I liked how you had Jeff and Britta have different texting styles, and I loved this line in particular:

The Latin Mock Senate watches him expectantly.

"Uck-fay off-ay," he tells them, fuming.

I really hope you write more Jeff/Annie.

Yay! I'm happy you liked the characterization--newish fandom, not sure I have all their styles down comfortably, et cetera, et cetera. So any reassurance helps.

Ummm probably one of the best fics I've read. Great dialogue and in character. Hilarious references: Bob Hope & Woodward, Harry Potter, etc. Really wonderful!

:-D I like to consider myself as more of a dialogue girl than an action-y/inner thoughts girl--no idea why, really, but I think that's where I fare better. So hearing comments saying said actions and inner thoughts were someone's favorite parts is actually incredibly satisfying to hear, since it's not a feature I'm too sure about. :-D So, in other words, thank you so much!!

And yes, concerned. But definitely not worried, because that isn't cool, and Jeff Winger could bottle cool and sell it to hipsters. If he wanted. xD
