Vancouver - Day 4

Saturday, Day 4: Set tour, Steve Bacic, Rob Cooper, N. John Smith, ADB crew!, Teryl Rothery, Carmen Argenziano, Cliff Simon, and costume contest. Contains Atlantis season 4 spoilers and SG1 Season 10 spoilers. I will clearly mark them so if you don't want to be spoiled you can skip over those parts and still enjoy the rest of the report. :)

Wheeee! Thanks for the newest part of the con report and for the pics! The set tour sounds wonderful, I'd so love to see the set myself. Glad you had fun!

And I agree and know that myself, one never takes enough pics, at first you think you have far too many, and in the end it's not enough, especially after sorting out those pics that are blurry or something. Suddenly these tons of pics don't seem to be as many as you thought before.

The office thing concerns me a lot I have to say. I think it's quite clear what it means. :S

Yes, sometimes staying in the hotel room and talking ot other SG fans is better than attending something con related. Talking to other fans who think and feel the same about your fav show and geeking out together is just great. :D

Strivaria had had the "cool room" with a great view. We could see the studio from her 14th floor room lit up by giant security flood lights. :D

Lovely pics and thanks for hiding the spoilers. I contemplated not reading this as I didn't want to know too much about S4.

Angie is lovely to hang out with - I can attest, after rooming next to her in London and going on day tour with her.

I have now heard the con clips that someone else posted and he's hillarious! He makes so much fun of poor Paul!!!

I know what you mean about the spoilers. It's kind of weird - I'm a complete spoiler junkie for Atlantis but not so much with SG1 or the other shows I watch. Someone let slip a major BSG season 3 spoiler the other day. Argh! I've only seen up to the middle of season 2 so far. I thought, "Wow, thanks for ruining that for me!" But with Atlantis, I have to know all of the spoilers. :D

Hee, they are cute pics - and someone on my flist had the ones with his mussed hair and I thought he looked very spiffy!

If Paul were around, he'd tease David back. He's pretty good at holding his fort! I actually asked David once why he was always picking on Paul and I think he said something like, "McGillion! He's always hungover at cons and look, he picks on me all the time!"

(which is kinda true!)

I'm trying to be good for S4 of Atlantis - it ain't easy but I am trying! The reason being that it made me really enjoy all the other shows like Dexter, CSI, Dresden Files and Doctor Who - coz I honestly had no clue about the shows!!! So I thought that I'd give it a go this year.

Season 4 spoiler- someone I was talking to at the Hilton also had John Smith as a tour guide and told me the same spoiler. To which I did a Snoopy dance. Maybe my fear of science dept - M & Z = C is not gonna happen?

Yeah, if one character *had* to go, I'd choose keeping McKay around over Weir. It's a tough choice because I ship McWeir and now it seems my ship is sinking. There's always fanfic. :)

Just to add, there weren't just two pictures behind Weir's desk. There were also three other pics. Teal'c (with a big smile on his face dressed in I think a BDU), Cassie, and Daniel (with a smile on his face dressed in the tux from 200...even though technically that never happened).
