Yesterday, I started cleaning house. Dusted and vacuumed. Even cleaned out the freezer. 5 year old frozen meat anyone?

Today, I did some dishes, knocked down some spider webs, and swept the patio.

The rose bushes that my great-grandma planted were looking mighty pretty in the morning sun.

Wow, you were busy! :)

5 year old frozen meat...that would go together well with the 3 year old frozen peas in my freezer... I really need to clean out my freezer, too...

Love that you have these (incredibly beautiful!) rose bushes in your garden that your great-grandmother planted - because in my garden I have (and absolutely love and care for) two rose bushes that my grandfather planted. :D

Great, let's do dinner! :P

We've had really good weather so far this summer and I've been watering the roses. Maybe it's a combination of both, but they are doing much better than last year - no one took care of them!

Cleaning out the freezer always throws up surprises doesn't it? lol.
You shouldn't feel to bad though, at work i had to clean out the fridge and found milk 6 months out of date and a jar of lemon slices 3 YEARS out of date - and the liquid had seperated, who knew lemon juice could seperate?!

Those are some lovely flowers btw. Not usually a fan of roses (fell in a rose bush as a kid) but i love the colouring of those.

Eww! I found old milk in my fridge last week. It was moldy and disgusting and it had leaked out from the bottom. That was an icky mess.

What's worse is that i cleared out the same fridge a couple of weeks later and found milk months out of date again. I cleared it all out already, the only way for that to happen was for someone to purposefully bring in mouldy milk! I work with some right mingers. Bleurgh.
