I used to work for one of the biggest insurance companies in the world. One year, their annual employee survey came back with negative reviews. So I wrote this email over my manager's head to a couple of the vice-presidents about changing the dress code to make employees more comfortable and happy.

A week later, they sent a company-wide email

thank you ;) Of course my boss came back at me like "You shouldve brought that to me first." Yea, thought he could take the credit for it when actually it would've sat on his desk and not went anywhere, hehe ;p
