Writer's Block: You Might Be Surprised to Hear...
I used to work for one of the biggest insurance companies in the world. One year, their annual employee survey came back with negative reviews. So I wrote this email over my manager's head to a couple of the vice-presidents about changing the dress code to make employees more comfortable and happy.
A week later, they sent a company-wide email saying thay every employee in the country could now wear jeans and sneakers on Mondays as well as Fridays. Everyone crowded around my desk all happy. They called every Monday "Paulday" after that hehe ;)
