yeah, just forget about practical experience and stick to your elegant models and oh-so-realistic experiments. Also, since returning to brown your posting has spike - you write more on LJ in providence than I did in rural eastern europe, and that's saying alot. On the other hand, I post so much on your lj that I do believe lj has entirely replaced human conversation for us two.

You know, I think that really is for the best right now, given my alternative is theoretically incoherent models and oh-so-non-existent experiments.

By "human conversation," do you mean AIM? Or... actual face-to-face speech? Because I plan on visiting, if you don't mind.

Are you suggesting that I operate based on theoretically incoherent models and non-existent experiments? Never!

By human conversation I meant phone or (gasp) face-to-face. And you are welcome to visit (almost) anytime. I'm compiling a calendar of 'things happening at harvard that I plan on doing/going to' which I can post online, which might provide you with a spark for coming up here?
