You did it! Good man. First time I buttonholed him, I had a carefully cultivated excuse: I was carrying a recorder, and interviewing notables at Worldcon for a rural radio programme. He was kind, polite, friendly, clever - all the things you'd expect. And I was very glad of that radio show.

I got it easy - I was moderating a panel he was on and sat right next to him. I was trying not to wee the whole time! :)
