Book Signings

I had a morning off last Thursday as I had to sort out some stuff for my new job, on the way back to work afterwards I de-toured via the Trafford Centre in order to attend a book signing.

I've never been to one of these before, as I've never really felt the need but I noticed that one of my favourite authors, Lee Child was signing copies of his ( Read more... )

Sounds splendid. I always forget to see authors I like when they're on signing tours. Maybe I'll pick up one of this Child fellow's books; do you have a recommendation?

The beauty of them is although they all have the same character you don't really need to read them in any particular order.

I'd suggest either The Persuader or Without Fail to start, although if you are passing by any supermarket etc they all have the newest MMPB "Bad Luck and Trouble" for a fiver.

The first one is Killing Floor, but apart from a few little strands there isn't any need to start with the first.

They are mainly just good old fashioned thrillers like, but I do like the detail/research he puts into them.
