surgery update

Got word last week that insurance will be covering my initial cardiology visit from a couple of weeks ago.  Now, I need to get special permission from my insurance company to go to the specific hospital.  My cardiologist will have to write a referral for this, but I'm not too worried about this part of it - what I have is very specialized, so I  ( Read more... )

Surgery is not covered, yet. Right now they are only covering my initial check up that I had a few weeks ago. Now I'm working on getting them to pay for the actual consultation and surgery, which I'm hoping will be a lot easier than the rest of this process has been so far. I think what makes it even harder is that it's basically impossible to get the same person when you call, so you have to repeat the whole thing every time you call.

We took a staycation and didn't go anywhere. Did some fun day trips though.

well I would take care to document who you talked to/when, so you have it for your records and make notes(just like in class) that way you have the information when you talk to someone and say "i talked to so and so on this date" etc. I do hate doing stuff like that, I had to do that a few times. Usually they should do sort of a conference/3-way, so that helps eliminate the problem before talking to the customer. joys...
