I've just agreed to an interview while I'm in England -- a noted Internet Search Engine will be calling me at my family's house over there on the evening I arrive.

We will be in Berkeley, guests of motogrrl, Hyla_regilla, and nitnorth a week from today, and they will take us to the SF airport so that on Monday we can check in for our flight to England. This relieves much of my nervousness about missing check-in at 1pm due to traffic from Sacramento. Eek!

The British government has re-evaluated plans to build a traffic tunnel under Stonehenge when a new estimate of £470m was announced.

Now, when we were there last year the new parking area and observation paths were very nice, much nicer than when I'd been there in 1980. But a tunnel under it ( Read more... )
