Brief update....

Cindy is slowly waking from her coma -- the sedation was removed almost a week ago, and a couple of days ago infrequent restless motions were observed -- fingers and toes moving, yawns, her eyes open once in a while. It appears that the slowness is due to the liver being unable to wash out the sedation and toxins quickly

It sounds like she is gradually improving, and coming back to consciousness to the voice of a loved one would be the most pleasant way.

Well, that's my thought, and if we can get several of us to record stuff, it would make up for not being able to be there all the time. I believe that she is still in there (I think I'd know if she were gone), and want to encourage her to come back to us.

I know that the road after she gets over this crisis is going to be very hard, but we need to get her to the beginning of the path in the first place.

Thankyou for the birthday wishes - I wouldn't have been at all offended if you had forgotten with so much on your mind, so I am overwhelmed that you remembered.
