Grump, Grump, Grump

I've had a migraine since 2:30 this morning, and Duncan has parade today at noon, and I wanted to be sewing the rest of the time. I now can't see very well, despite best efforts and meds. Back to bed.

Ouch. I'm sorry. That sounds miserable.

Yes. Waking up to one of these things always means I have a horrible dream before I wake up, which is a double doozy. ;-)

However, the parade was nice, altho exceptionally hot, and beside sweating hugely, Duncan did pretty well.

I'm finding that the only way to deal with sudden heat is to slow down, and only do the minimum until either it gets cooler, or I slowly acclimatise. I just can't cope with big weather changes as quickly as I could 20 years ago. Perhaps this is your body telling you to slow down and not try to pack quite so much into one day.
Hope the migraine clears quickly!

Well, yesterday was cooler, and I stayed in the house most of the day (I just completely forgot about woodwork) sewing. Perhaps it was not having a prescription for my glasses that is exactly right; or just annoyance at the darn black linen. ;-)
