Dying, again?

The tights from Capezio arrived today -- they are, according to the package, 100% nylon. Do we dye them the same way we talked about before?

Found this on the RIT page:

Nylon is a synthetic material which dyes very easily and quickly. Special care must be taken to avoid using too much dye. For one pound of fabric (about 3 yards of medium weight material), use:

* 1 tablespoon Rit Powder dye or 1/4 cup of Rit Liquid dye
* 3 gallons of hot water
130° F - 140° F for light and medium colors
150° F - 180° F for dark colors
* Dyeing time:
10 - 15 minutes for light and medium colors
20 - 30 minutes for dark colors Important:
o To avoid wrinkling, do not exceed a temperature of 180° F when handling synthetics, such as nylon.
o Do not place hot fabric directly into cold water.
o Avoid using too small a container which will crowd fabric.

Should I use my espresso machine thermometer to test the water temp? ;-)

Do I still use Kool-Aid?
