The fifth season has begun! I know I've been neglecting LJ all summer, but I'm back and it felt good to be blogging about a new episode of Supernatural! WIth my work schedule I probably won't be able to do a complete blog for every episode, but I'm going to try post something each week. We'll see how that goes.

And without further preamble (is that ( Read more... )

Great blog! I enjoyed reading your comments!! I'm not personally familiar with the song Thunderstruck but it's intensity matched perfectly with the frenzied opening and Apocalyptic theme. I think they chose that well ( ... )

Show was really quite good last night. If Apple ever keeps telling me that I need to upgrade this application for that application to work, I will get to watch the episode again.

I wonder if Dean is able to be a vessel because of changes incurred when he was pulled out of Hell last year. But I loved him refusing to give in to Zach-the-asshat's torture. I thought it was an interesting point that even Lucifer had to get permission to enter a body.

(By the way, I wondered how Castiel would find them with the sigil, too. Maybe Castiel is also something else now that he's been brought back.)

I'm looking forward to the explination of how Castiel got brought back and the Boys got on that airplane.

I can't wait for all the angst we get on Sam and Dean's journey to reconciliation. And I hope Bobby's OK. Poor guys!

Great blog!

I agree...the beginning felt a little rushed and it my brain a little while to fill in the missing pieces. I'm sure it had to do with having to cut stuff out for time.

Loved pissed-off Dean and his talking back to Zach! And Bobby..woah...I seriously thought it was Bobby up until just before he hit Dean. I thought it was interesting that Castiel left like that. He had this look in he eyes..almost like he was hearing someone calling him. I'll have to rewatch to be sure. And of course Sammy..poor guy. As if he didn't feel guilty enough? What a great shot at the end with Sammy standing there and Dean going to the car without him.
