In reading an article by James Toner titled Temperance and the Profession of Arms an interesting point was brought up. If everything is relative to the individual, there is no moral code. Two important events have and will occur that make me wish more than ever I was in CO. One happy, the other sad. One a beginning, the other an end. Neither I can be there to support good friends involved. Now its finding a way to support both in such very different ways. Tonight, I wish I was home.

As I'm putting off studying for my ASBC test I realized that one of the leadership competencies is to asses self. So here I am assessing self and learning from the mistakes of our little war game. Well, the day in the life of an active duty officer has finally gotten better. Classes going strong full of the typical BS. At least we had some good speakers and guest lectures. Odd little tidbit, today is my Entry into Active Duty day. Not sure if this is when my pay starts accruing or what. If it is, I spent your tax dollars very well playing video games. If not, I still spent your tax dollars well since all the money I have has pretty much come from AFROTC stipends.

Well, I burned that bridge, time to move on.

Two friends engaged this weekend (separate and not to each other). Looks like I have to budget my leave accordingly.
