Top 5 cds of 2004

KEXP is taking entries for the top 90 albums of the year and I've been sitting at work pouring over all the new music I heard in the past year. I think I've pulled together a list of 5 cds that I think are the best albums I've listened to from 2004

This has been a better year for singles than whole albums. My top 5:

1. Sonic Youth: Sonic Nurse.
2. Danger Mouse: The Grey Album.

Um. That's all I got.

Never really got around to listening to the sonic youth release. I should listen to that more.

I was having a really hard time deciding on 5 releases. I'm not sure about the citizen cope album, actually. That's a cd which is a perfect example of the singles being great, but the album was lacking a little bit.
