Long time, long time, love you long time.

Hello all!

Well, after - what? - eight months, I’m back with a post. I find the prospect of addressing the many things I’ve been up to in the last few months a bit daunting, so I’ve decided to do it in bullet point format.

Ten things I’ve done in the past year:

- Started going to evening Japanese lessons. I love it! Learning some Kanji and all ( Read more... )

I am very jealous of you for seeing that concert. It sounds incredibly awesome. Hopefully, I will remember to go see them next time they are in Houston. On the other hand, I may now be too old for Loud Music at Concerts Played By Them Kids Today.

:D Do you plan on disappearing for another eight months again?

You can never be too old for a good concert, and don't let anyone convince you otherwise XD

I don't plan on dissapearing for another eight months, I'll just be a bit more scarce around here than I used to be. I hear from Liz that you are having some health issues these days, you okay? What's wrong?

Well, I will look forward to your posts, whenever they may come. :D :D

Yes... I've been having some health problems. But, I've always had difficulty with my lungs, ever since I was a little girl. I had a very rare form of pneumonia as a child, and had to spend much time in the hospital for it. Since then, I've just had periods of poor health relating to various respiratory problems. But, I think I am better now. For a while, at least. :D

It's great to see you back on lj-- and both you and Tim look fabulous! Congrats on the weight loss! There are lots of things I want to talk to you about, but I'll wait for your e-mail so I won't overwhelm you. :D Welcome back!

Thank you!

I'm also glad to be back. Hopefully we'll get some time to chat this weekend. I'm busy preparing for another driving test (tomorrrow) and another job interview (Friday). This could turn out to be a great -- or disastrous -- week for me... I'm a little anxious :P

Talk soon and take care ♥

So, how did the driving test go? Do you find out your results right away, or do they make you wait?

I imagine it will take a bit longer to learn how the job interview went, at least in an official capacity, but do you feel good about it? What job were you interviewing for?

I hope both trials went well for you! I'm anxious to hear the results.

It's all good news! I'm feeling over the moon right now. I passed my driving test with flying colours (only two minors!). Haha, I've been driving my car around non-stop since. The interview also went really well. My mum has a student who works for the same company I applied and she had to call him on Friday afternoon because he missed a lesson. He told her he'd overheard his boss saying they were going to hire me (he works in the same department aparently!!) So... it's not an official response and I have to wait to hear it directly from the recruitment agency either tomorrow or Tuesday, rather than through possibly misleading word of mouth... but it's looking very good, indeed ( ... )

Hi! Damn, you've been gone for awhile, but it looks like you did & are still doing a lot of cool stuff. I wish I could say the same, but so goes it.

Hello! *waves*

I'm done some cool stuff but that's only because I'm failing in the career department, so I have more time than I would like to spare... Not for long hopefully.

How are you doing? How's life these days?

I'm okay. I never have much going on of interest, but I'm in law school now. Life is as good as... a chocolate chip cookie... but then I don't really like those things.

I should tell you something. I have a phobia of driving stick now. Nothing bad happened, but I developed it anyway. I compare it to those phobias people get of flying in airplanes, because it really doesn't make much sense. I'll cry, if someone tries to make me drive. One day learning, I screwed up, then I didn't drive for a long time... and now I have a phobia. That said... good luck on your driver's test. Go, go Pato! (like Speed Racer)

Law School, wow! That must be hard going. My memory is not that good XD

Talking about driving, as if I didn't have enough on my plate as it is, just now I was driving the car back with my mum and a frecking black cat jumped in front of me. I had to do an emergency stop and the van that was behind swerved around me, then when I passed him later on at a right turn the driver honked the horn angrily at me. Man, he could have hit me! I reallt don't need that kind of accident on the night before my test. I wasn't going over the speed limit so he swerved because he was driving too close. I didn't want to drive the cat over, that would have been awful, so I stopped because the cat didn't move. Man, I'm tired now.

Don't let my story put you off driving, though! The moral is no one was hurt in the end, including the cat, and all that was exchanged were some nerves and a couple of angry honk horns :D
