Hello all!
Well, after - what? - eight months, I’m back with a post. I find the prospect of addressing the many things I’ve been up to in the last few months a bit daunting, so I’ve decided to do it in bullet point format.
Ten things I’ve done in the past year:
- Started going to evening Japanese lessons. I love it! Learning some Kanji and all

I'm done some cool stuff but that's only because I'm failing in the career department, so I have more time than I would like to spare... Not for long hopefully.
How are you doing? How's life these days?

I should tell you something. I have a phobia of driving stick now. Nothing bad happened, but I developed it anyway. I compare it to those phobias people get of flying in airplanes, because it really doesn't make much sense. I'll cry, if someone tries to make me drive. One day learning, I screwed up, then I didn't drive for a long time... and now I have a phobia. That said... good luck on your driver's test. Go, go Pato! (like Speed Racer)

Talking about driving, as if I didn't have enough on my plate as it is, just now I was driving the car back with my mum and a frecking black cat jumped in front of me. I had to do an emergency stop and the van that was behind swerved around me, then when I passed him later on at a right turn the driver honked the horn angrily at me. Man, he could have hit me! I reallt don't need that kind of accident on the night before my test. I wasn't going over the speed limit so he swerved because he was driving too close. I didn't want to drive the cat over, that would have been awful, so I stopped because the cat didn't move. Man, I'm tired now.
Don't let my story put you off driving, though! The moral is no one was hurt in the end, including the cat, and all that was exchanged were some nerves and a couple of angry honk horns :D

I probably would have done the same thing for a kitty. They're near and dear to my heart (especially the black ones). A lot of my cats have been run over by the crazy drivers around here. It was his own fault for following too close to you, like you said. What if it was a kid that ran out in front of you? Mow the kid down! ...Obviously. Hahah. At least no one was hurt though, like you said.
You've probably taken it by now, but good luck with your exam!
